Emeralds Past in Prose, Poetry and Pictures

This book was originally published in 1980. To find a copy, any copy, much less a copy of it in this pristine condition was phenomenal. I would highly recommend the distributor for so many reasons: the package arrived earlier than originally projected; it was “sealed” ever-so-caringly in brown wrapper with almost precision-like tape; and then after removing the brown wrapper, the book itself was equally embraced in Asian newspaper print folded as if it was an origami cocoon for its precious cargo. Unbelievable, as well, was the quality/condition of the book itself. I was moved to purchase because the publication included histories I had written about family members, and represented the community in which I was raised over 50 years ago. Finally, as a side note, when I opened the book cover to the inside page, much to my astonishment, the signature of the last owner 23 years ago was my mother’s sister – my aunt – who along with my entire family had long since passed away.  —  Gravel Roads, Customer Review, Amazon
